Industry Veteran Ellide Smith Joins as Vice President, Event Operations

EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Oct. 29, 2019 — Streamlinevents, a leading meetings management company, welcomes Ellide Smith to the company as Vice President, Event Operations, effective immediately. In her role, Smith will lead and coach the organization’s event management and operations team with responsibility for the successful execution of all programs.

An executive with nearly two decades managing experiential global events, Smith comes to streamlinevents after stints on both the corporate and the agency side of the business. Most recently, she managed a portfolio of 240+ high-touch events a year for C-level executives. Now she’s excited to return to an agency environment, and the flexibility of interacting with a diverse group of people and clients, producing a variety of event types.

Smith prides herself in developing teams to realize their true capabilities, preparing team members for what’s next in their career growth. A large part of her focus will be directly coaching and mentoring of her team, which she believes is vital to clients’ success.

Smith has a degree from University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and has earned the Certified Meeting Planner certification.
